My name is Jonathan George. I started King's Kid Media not long after my first book was published in 2011. However, my journey in writing began five years before that when a gift met a need, and I found my calling. It all began while working with kids involved in a ministry that required intense Bible memorization. I had an opportunity to make the scripture come alive for the kids which required that I put pen to paper. In return, I came alive with new wonder at the unfathomable depth of God's word.
My Bio
Since 2006, I have been writing devotional-style material for a denominational children's and youth ministry called Bible Quizzing. Since 2011, I've published Bible-based fiction books and devotions for middle graders and young adults through an independent Christian publishing house and self publication.
Jesus said in Matthew 19:14, "Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven." My mission is to impart Biblical wisdom and truth to future generations. This is my way of taking them to the feet of Jesus.
On a personal note: I have four grown kids and three wonderful grandchildren, and live in Houston, Texas.
